Long before technology was widespread, how would people spend leisure time? Join a small team of living historians as they discuss how gentlemen and ladies would kick back and relax 18^th century style. From playing cards to taking tea, this pop-up event explores recreations that would commonly be found in Newport homes.

This event will take place in the yard of the Wanton-Lyman-Hazard House, 17 Broadway, on May 15, 2021 from 10am-2pm. Visitors are required to wear a cloth or medical face mask and practice social distancing with anyone outside of their “quaranteam.”

Admission is free, donations are welcome.
