Join us for an evening at the NHS’ current exhibition, “Raise the Alarm: The Newport Fire Department through the Decades”.
Extended evening hours occur every third Tuesday of the month from 4pm to 7pm for guests to explore the exhibition after normal business hours. Bring your friends and enjoy beverages while you learn about Newport’s firefighting history. Feeling brave? Strike up a conversation with our knowledgeable staff and exhibit visitors.
During this month’s History Happy Hour we will be offering an exclusive vault tour for all guests! Step behind the scenes at the Newport Historical Society and experience the curatorial process. Our special Newport Fire Department vault tour highlights many of the objects that are not featured in our newest exhibit, “Raise the Alarm: Newport Fire Department through the Decades.”
All guests who make a $10.00 donation or more to the Newport Historical Society will receive a free drink!
