Research Grants, 2024–2025
The Newport Historical Society is a member of the New England Regional Fellowship Consortium. This collaboration of thirty-one major cultural agencies will offer at least two dozen fellowships in the June 1, 2024–May 31, 2025 application cycle. Each grant provides a stipend of $5,000 for a minimum of eight weeks of research at three or more participating institutions.
Special award in 2024–2025: The Colonial Society of Massachusetts will underwrite a project on the history of New England before the American Revolution.
