From the thriving colonial rum trade through the temperance movement and Prohibition era smuggling, learn about the changing role of alcohol in the community. This tour starts at the Museum of Newport History (127 Thames Street) ends at Stoneacre Brasserie where a historic drink will be served. *Participants must be 21 or older. This hour-long tour is presented by a guide wearing authentic historical clothing.
