The Newport Historical Society’s extensive photograph collection is used on a daily basis by a variety of researchers. We assist book publishers, authors, filmmakers, scholars, genealogists, architects, builders and local home-owners to track down rare images of Newport’s unique historic landscape and former residents. Recently, several local businesses, which are listed below, have supported the NHS by purchasing high-resolution scans of some particularly interesting images for display in their establishments.
