Ann Hutchinson, an early settler of Aquidneck Island, was a dynamic and charismatic figure and an influential woman. Eve LaPlante, author of the Boston Globe best-selling biography American Jezebel: The Uncommon Life of Anne Hutchinson, the Woman Who Defied the Puritans (HarperOne 2005), will speak about Hutchinson’s life and sign copies of the book.
