Past issues of Newport History are now available online via Salve Regina University’s Digital Commons. Currently issues dating back to 2004 are available, but we anticipate every issue of Newport History to be available online over the next year. As a benefit of membership, Historical Society members receive a free subscription to the full catalog of Newport History online.
For NHS members, reading the Journal online is as easy as creating an account. Click here to visit the site, then click “My Account” at the bottom of the screen. Click “Create New Account.” Log in using the email address you supplied to the NHS when becoming a member. Follow the remaining prompts to have the authorization email sent to you. After you have set up your account, you can access Newport History online with your email and password.
