Jacob Silvia, our 1,000th visitor to the Colony House on July 4, 2011
Jacob Silvia, of Westport, MA, celebrated the Fourth of July with his family and the Newport Historical Society at the 1739 Colony House in Newport, Rhode Island.
As a prize for being the 1,000th visitor on Independence Day 2011, he received the book Signing Their Lives Away: The Fame and Misfortune of the Men Who Signed the Declaration of Independence, by Denise Kiernan.
