Retrace the lives of the shopkeepers, tavern owners, teachers and more who made their way in this diverse seaport on the Women in Colonial Newport history walking tour. This one-time-only tour will debut on Saturday May 1st at 11:30am and will investigate the many entrepreneurial women who once walked Newport’s historic streets.

Departs from the Museum & Shop at Brick Market, 127 Thames Street, Newport, RI, and costs $12 per person, $10 for NHS members. Reservations are strongly recommended as space is limited. Tour lasts approximately 75 minutes and is weather permitting. 401-841-8770
